Cancelation Policy
If we feel that an event is unsafe for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel and issue a full refund.
When you have a need to cancel your event, your deposit will be fully refunded if the rented items are able to be rented to someone else. That means the more notice we are given – the more likely a refund will be issued. That refund will only be issued once the item has been paid for by the replacement customer. If we are unable to rent the item to another customer, 100% of the fee can be used as a future credit on any rental, and on any item! An additional fee must still be collected to reserve another item, and the credit will be used on the remaining balance that is due.
If a reservation is cancelled after 9:00am the day PRIOR to your pickup day(24 hours before reservation), then 100% of the deposit is forfeited (no refund and no issued credit). In case of inclement weather, the 24hr cancellation policy will be waived and the deposit can be used as a future credit (unless we are able to re-rent the items to another customer, then a full refund will be issued). It is suggested that you arrange an alternate, indoor location for your event in case of weather. Determining what classifies as inclement weather and the waiving of the 24hr cancelation policy is at the discretion of Extreme Party Innovations.
If an order is cancelled for any of the following reasons, a $75 attempted delivery fee will be added to your order to cover expenses involved with preparing the order for delivery. You will have the choice to reschedule the delivery for another time or to cancel. If you choose to reschedule, your deposit can be used as a future credit. Or if you choose to cancel, any balance (and attempted delivery fee) will be refunded according to the guide line listed above.
- On the same day as it was scheduled for delivery
- If we arrive for a delivery but are unable to set-up because of issues with the location (please see Site Selection),
- If we arrive at the site and are unable to set-up because of issues with the weather (see weather cancellation below)
- If we arrive at the site and are unable to set-up because and adult(18 or over) is not their take delivery. )
With the exception of the periods noted above, if you cancel 7 days or more before your event you will receive a full refund of any money paid. If you cancel within 7 days of your event, we will issue you a raincheck for your deposit and refund any amount paid in excess. This raincheck can be applied to your next rental for a period of up to one year. We do not refund deposits within 7 days of an event because the chances of renting the equipment to someone else is greatly reduced when it is within a week.
Due to the large number of orders in these periods, orders for multiple items placed for May 15 – June 7, or July 3-24, or for August 21 -September 30 require at least 30 days’ notice in order to receive a full refund. If the order is cancelled within 30 days of the event, we will issue you a raincheck for your deposit and refund any amount paid in excess. This raincheck can be applied to your next rental for a period of up to one year.
We cannot leave equipment unless an adult (18 years or older) is present to sign the contract. If we finish setting up and no one is present to sign, we will either disable or remove the equipment. You will have to call our office to reschedule the delivery and a $150 set-up fee will be added to your account.
Once the equipment has been delivered there are no refunds, regardless of the total time the equipment was used.
COLD/WET WEATHER POLICY
When the weather turns cool or wet, it can raise havoc with your event. Our primary concern is always for the safety of our customers and our crews. When the weather cools down the vinyl in the inflatables becomes stiffer. This makes it harder when your guests are landing on it and more difficult for our crews to manage it. Because rain cools the vinyl, it can have the same effect. When you get the two together, it can present quite a challenge.
Anytime throughout the year, but especially the transition seasons, it is wise to have a back-up location planned in the event of adverse weather conditions. We are happy to accommodate moving your event into an indoor location–such as a church, gym, or warehouse–but we ask that you call us at least 24 hours before the event. This allows us to bring the right equipment and to make sure that the size and type of inflatable that you ordered will work in the new venue.
Before June 1st and after September 1st, water may be used at the sole discretion of Extreme Party Innovations. The delivery driver will make the final decision whether or not to allow water based on current and forecasted weather conditions, and the proposed location of the inflatable. No refunds will begiven because we did not allow water to be used on your inflatable. If we determine that water may be used, all inflatables must be emptied and dried one hour before schedule pick up time.
Wind/lightening Wind, lightning and inflatables do not mix, even if the rare staked down according to manufacturing requirements. All inflatables must be shut down when wind gusts exceed 20mph as determined on any weather app. When the wind gusts die down, the inflatable can be set up again. If lightning is seen within 5 miles of the given event the inflatable must be cleared and shut down until the lightning goes away.
